Hi I’m Alexis, the sentimental, hopeless romantic, adventure loving, girl behind the camera.

For as long as I can remember I have been intrigued with capturing the beauty of life around me on camera. From using a disposable camera in elementary school to take pictures of my horses to now capturing the most special moments of people’s lives. I always just wanted to capture the moment and how it felt, so I could go back later and look and remember. For almost 4 years now I have had the privilege to fall in love with the art of capturing stories but more than that I’ve fallen in love with serving people through photography.
I love when clients see their photos and say that they feel like them or that they have been transported back in time to that moment. Your time with me is a chance to be yourselves, a chance for me to capture you in your element with your favorite person on earth. I’m a storyteller of all the authentic and genuine moments of human connection that matter the most to YOU. That first kiss after finally being married, the butterflies you get when you look at your person, . These are the moments that make life crazy beautiful. The moments that you’ll show your grandchildren and remember forever even in the changing of seasons.

I’m a follower of Jesus and truly believe that life is so full of beauty and joy. And i have always wanted to document that so it is forever timeless and remembered. I’m married to the sweetest, most handsome man who is absolutely the love of my life. I studied wildlife and natural resource management in college (boiler up!) and I work in conservation, managing nature preserves, when I’m not doing photography. Beauty in nature is one of my biggest inspirations and during a shoot outdoors I may even tell you some of the native flora around us. We live in the cutest old house with our chickens and cat and together we love doing house projects or traveling on the weekends and doing something adventurous! I loveee cute local coffee shops but will only drink decaf. When I’m not outside in my flower gardens I’m usually reading a book. Fall is my favorite season, I’m the biggest Swiftie, and one day, I want to visit every national park.
