Elopements are especially near and dear to my heart because my husband and I decided to have a small, intimate ceremony in the Smokey Mountains National Park. i alwaysss end up overdelivering but for a full wedding package, you can expect 500 to 800 photos. For elopements you can expect 100 to 500 photos. For engagements, you can expect 75-150 images.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

when it comes to your outfits, the most important thing to remember is to stay true to your style and wear something you feel comfortable and confident in. earthy tones like browns, creams, greens, tans, rusts, light blues, grey, etc are always a good choice. I also recommend staying away from crazy patterns or bright bold colors and anything with a logo. this is because it will detract from YOU and the emotions and movements happening in the photo. neutral and earthy tones go well with any skin tone! simple fabrics like linens, cottons and denim photograph well! Before your shoot with me, I will send out a style guide with different inspo!
We spent a long time searching for the right wedding photographer and went through quite a process, but Alexis’s style stood out more than anything else we saw. From the very beginning, we loved that her work is this perfect balance of whimsy, romance, and documentary storytelling. She has such a gift for capturing the small in between moments that could easily be missed, while also giving us the colorful, artistic portraits we had hoped for. Looking through our photos now, we see not only the big milestones but also every guest, every laugh, and all of the emotions of the day. It feels like she bottled up the spirit of our wedding so that we can relive it forever. Beyond the beauty of her work, Alexis made the whole process so easy. She is incredibly kind, approachable, and down to earth, and she brought such a calm and steady energy to our day. She let me set the schedule and followed along without ever making things feel rushed or overwhelming. Our guests felt comfortable around her, and she blended seamlessly into the celebration while still managing to capture everything. We never once felt like we were being pulled away from the joy of the moment, and yet we now have this treasure trove of photos that tell the story from every angle. Choosing Alexis was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We are endlessly grateful for the memories she preserved for us, and we will be recommending her to all of our friends. We also cannot wait to work with her again in the future for family photos. Alexis was without a doubt, one of the best things about my wedding. I am so thankful we chose to have Alexis as our photographer for our wedding. She made everything simple and easy from the first day!
